The holidays behind the subtraction

4 further holidays fall on weekends and are not moved, so they cost no working days: Święto Pracy (May 1), Wniebowzięcie Najświętszej Maryi Panny (Aug 15), Boże Narodzenie (Dec 25), Drugi dzień Bożego Narodzenia (Dec 26).

Common questions

How many working days does 2027 have in Poland?

253261 Mon–Fri weekdays minus 8 national holidays that land on a weekday. Regional and local holidays sit outside the national set and would lower the number further where they apply.

How many working days is that per month, on average?

About 21.1 per month — but the spread matters more than the average: 66 working days in Q3 against 61 in Q1. A plan that assumes a flat month overcommits exactly where the calendar is thinnest.

Does this include vacation or booked time off?

No — this is the ceiling the calendar sets before anyone books leave. A team’s real capacity subtracts each person’s time off and part-time arrangement from these days; that is what the capacity calculator computes for a whole team, per member country.

Rule source: Ustawa o dniach wolnych od pracy (1951), rules last verified 2026-08-03. Poland has no regional public holidays, so this is the full national set. Easter and Pentecost Sunday are omitted; they never fall on a working day. Christmas Eve counts from 2025, when it became a public holiday. A holiday falling on a Saturday earns a compensating day off under working-time law, but the employer schedules it, so it has no fixed date and is not modelled here.

Now subtract your actual team

253 days is the calendar’s ceiling for one person in Poland. A real team spans countries, books leave, and works part-time — the calculator does that arithmetic for your headcount in seconds, no account.
