What each week held
Read in 3 of the last 12 weeks. The other 9 were not read at all, and are drawn empty rather than as quiet.
The bar is observed claims in that week. A dashed marker is a week this company was not read at all — not a quiet one. Inferences and failed reads are in neither.
What it declares
- natural-language app generation
- browser-based WebContainer environment
- one-click deploy
- GitHub project integration
- in-chat AI image generation
- token-metered usage
- Bolt Agent
- security defaults (leaked password protection)
As the company’s own pages describe it. Forge did not test any of these.

Bolt's own release notes now confirm that as of August 3, 2026, the v1 Agent (legacy) and Discussion Mode are fully retired; any remaining v1 projects were automatically switched to Bolt Agent with chat history preserved.
Users still on legacy v1 projects as of the prior ledger's forecast date have now definitively lost access to v1 and must rely on the migrated Bolt Agent; this closes out a previously-pending deprecation rather than introducing new functionality.

An independent pricing tracker claims Bolt's Free tier daily token cap was reduced from 200K to 150K tokens/day in February 2026, and that the Pro tier received a token bump from roughly 10M to 13M effective around May 5, 2026 with no price change.
If accurate, this represents a packaging tightening on the free tier and a value increase on Pro, but the claim is unverified against Bolt's own pricing page.

Bolt added the ability to generate AI images directly from the Bolt chatbox, including transparent background support and automatic WebP conversion.
Affects builders who previously needed external tools for imagery, now available in-workflow.

Bolt added a 'Prevent Leaked Passwords' setting that checks end users' chosen passwords against known data-breach password lists and prompts a different password on a match, and it added the ability to disconnect an individual project from its linked GitHub repository without removing the whole GitHub integration.
Affects developers building auth-enabled apps on Bolt and those managing GitHub-linked projects, adding a security control and more granular repo management.

Bolt's own release notes state that any remaining v1 (legacy) agent projects were being automatically migrated to the newer Bolt Agent, with chat history preserved across the migration, and that v1 Agent could no longer be selected for new projects starting April 13, 2026, with v1 projects becoming inaccessible after August 3, 2026.
Affects existing users on the legacy agent, who must migrate or lose access to their v1-built sites.

Third-party pricing trackers report Bolt's structure as four tiers — Free (roughly 150K tokens/day, no card required), Pro (~$20–$25/month for ~10M tokens, with higher $50/$100/$200 sub-tiers for heavier usage), Teams (~$30 per member/month), and custom-priced Enterprise — with token-metered usage rather than flat per-project fees.
Establishes the baseline pricing/packaging structure buyers compare against other AI app builders like Replit and Lovable; exact headline Pro price varies by source ($20 vs $25) so should be confirmed directly on bolt.new.
